Introduction to Quality Circles.

Introduction to Quality Circle (QC):-
Quality Circle is a group of people involved in specific works or proffessions who joined together with the view to solve the problems faced by them in order to promote the quality of their works or proffessions. Quality Circles are intended towards creating problem solving attitudes among themselves by analyzing their problems, recommending the potential solutions and carrying managerial changes among themselves.
Quality Circle is an effective access of quality management in which group's suggestion and member's satisfaction are most valued. According to Japanese Proffessor Kaoru Ishikawa, "Quality Circl is a voluntary group of people who meet together in a regular basis to identify, analyze and solve quality, productivity, safety and other problems in their working area, leading to improvement in their perfomances and and enrichment of their work life."
The first concept of Quality Circle was developed in Japan in order to identify source of variations in quality and management programmes. In those days, the Quality Circles were intended only to discuss the ways of improving products and proccesses in different business organizations or industries. The interelations between management and workers were given more priority to develop the quality production of particular bussiness organizations.
Now-a-days, the concepts of Quality Circles are also experienced in various non-industrial sectors such as Hospitals, Banks, Educational Institutions, etc. in various countries to promote the quality of their level. There are various Quality Circles among which Workers' Quality Circles (in particular industry or organization), Teachers' Quality Circles, Doctors' Quality Circles, Quality Circles of Ministers, Students' Quality Circles, etc. are in common practice in this modern world.
The main aim of Quality Circles is to create Total Qualified Society (TQS) under the effort of Total Quality People/Person (TQP) via Total Quality Management (TQM). Every Quality Circles are intended to solve their problems assuming to promote the quality of their level because a problem-free-mind is required to create an environment of Total Quality Mangement (TQM) and hence only the TQP are created signifying this beautiful universe as the Totally Qualified Society of rational animal. Hence, the development of problem solving attitudes would be an additional brick to create the world as the "Great Wall" of Totally Qualified Society where Quality People/Person live with Mutual Trust and Mutual Concern for development and co-operation help among each other.
